Terms of Service

Effective Date: 01 May 2025

These Terms govern your use of SO2A's services.

1. Services

  • SaaS Platform – PDPA consent capture, storage, and reporting
  • Advisory Services – audits, training, policy drafting, on-going compliance support

2. Accounts

You are responsible for all activity under your credentials and must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the platform, and not to upload unlawful or malicious content.

4. Fees and Payment

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
  • Advisory projects are invoiced per written agreement.
  • Late payments may incur 1 % interest per month.

5. Service Levels

We target 99.5 % monthly uptime. Planned maintenance windows will be announced at least 24 hours in advance.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Sub-processors

We may engage third-party processors that provide data protection at a level no less stringent than the PDPA.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate for material breach with 30 days' notice (or immediately for irremediable breach). Upon termination, access ceases and data is exported or deleted according to our retention rules.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the six (6) months preceding the claim.

10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Parties agree to attempt mediation at the Singapore Mediation Centre before litigation. These Terms are governed by Singapore law; the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
